Camel Dress with Black Outline.

I’ve always been inspired by the color combination of camel and black! I think both neutral colors compliment each other very well and when it comes to this piece, I immediately knew I wanted to add the Camel Dress with Black Lining dress to the MTYA collection. From the black lining on the collar and sleeves to the the V-neck detail, this dress is simplistic enough to be worn to the office, but formal enough to be worn for a night out on the town. In styling, I decided to focus on pairing this dress with bold accessories (as you can see a Winter inspired hat and faux fur piece). As you can see, the color highlights in the fur and hat truly compliments the entire look of this dress. In recommending additional styling tips, I would consider pairing this dress with a red jacket/coat for a pop of color.

The bold pink, 3/4 length sleeve, pleated detail, and overall pattern appeal is what attracted me to this dress. I chose the Bright Pink Floral Dress for the MTYA collection because of these attributes along with its rich vintage personality. As a note, it’s very difficult to find dresses with bold colors AND detailed qualities like this dress showcases. In recommending styling tips, I would consider pairing a bold green, yellow, or orange belt around the waist of this dress. By pairing a contrasting bold color (such as these colors mentioned), each contrasting color will stand out.

Black Dress with Patterned Detailed Waist.

I’ve always believed that black dresses are an easy foundation for pairing bold colors! When I found the Black Dress with Patterned Waist , I knew it would be not only a great addition to the MTYA collection, but would allow me to showcase a simple way of pairing black with color. Additionally, the patterned waist serves as a good starting point for determining which color(s) to pair with this dress. In styling this dress, I chose a multi-colored necklace because I didn’t want to hide the bold shoulders and waist of this dress. In recommending additional styling tips, I would consider pairing this dress with either a red, turquoise, or white statement necklace. Additionally, I would also consider pairing a statement purse (red, turquoise, or white) with this dress.

Leather has always been one of my favorite fabrics! When I wear leather, I automatically feel a boost in confidence. I typically will find black leather options (from pants to skirts), but rarely colored leather like The Bold Leather Burgundy Skirt . In selecting this piece for the MTYA collection, I chose to style this skirt with a mustard yellow blouse and gold metallic jacket, because I wanted to showcase how this skirt can be worn after work hours (to an event/cocktails with the girls). For additional styling, I would consider pairing other colors such as a crisp white, navy blue, gold, or cream blouse with this skirt.
